This amp is great, unfortunately I think it’s no longer available. It was exactly what I was looking for for my speakers. It delivers a “warm” sound with my Triangle Alpha.

Classica is one of the finest monthly magazines dedicated to the world of classical music. Their equipment reviews focus on the listening experience and musical emotion. The most beautiful recordings are awarded the "Choc" label.
We have chosen to talk about the Kandy K3 INT integrated amplifier which succeeds the Kandy K2 from British manufacturer Roksan, an audiophile amplifier that the specialized press has praised so highly (Diapason d’Or - 5 stars What Hifi - Choc Classica Hi-Fi)
It is a high-end hi-fi amp that we particularly appreciate. It is therefore on display in the store for regular demonstrations. We usually pair it with Triangle or B&W speakers due to its “tube-like” sound. Aesthetically, the K3 is very understated with beautiful chrome knobs in rounded shapes, available in three different finishes: anthracite (grey), charcoal (black) and opium (brown).
As mentioned above, its sound approaching that of a “tube” amp has encouraged us to pair it with Triangle, Focal or B&W speakers. Its strength comes from a dense midrange where supple textures blend with a powerful ability to analyze harmonics. It is supported by bass with quite astounding punch and level for an integrated amplifier. Without being overblown, it provides a rather remarkable foundation. Moreover, you get an excellent sense of space - the soundstage is wide with good depth.

In terms of its reputation. Very powerful for driving many speakers, with control, plenty of detail, and nuance. Very transparent, it highlights nuances and differences in atmospheres in music. The only small flaw is that at low volume, it can come across as a bit too polite. But as soon as you turn up the volume, it’s a delight. Not suitable for nighttime listening in a student’s bedroom.

Hello, following my purchase, here is my review. I am not an audiophile, but I do have two ears, and frankly, the sound delivered by this amp is mediocre. Over 1000 euros... thank you, marketing. I’m not one of those who say things were better before, but what are the points that justify such a price? 150 watts? Where? I have several other amps that are less powerful on paper but perform just as well, and some even better than this one. Build quality? Just lightly touch the control buttons to understand that the 1000+++ euros were not spent on the quality of the front buttons. Maybe it’s in the Bluetooth then? Nope, Roksan decided that for a higher price, it was better to remove Bluetooth... So, in the sound then? After all, that’s what an amp is for! Well, no again! It’s very, very, very colored, unbalanced in the mids (too much), the soundstage is narrow, and the bass is overwhelming. I tried it with all my speakers (9 different pairs), ranging from Focal, Davis, Klipsch, Triangle, Jamo Concert, etc., and nothing works, even though I have a large open living room of over 45 m²... As you’ve understood, it’s a big disappointment. I almost sent it back after a few days, but it was too complicated. In short, it’s very average, and I don’t understand the people who praise this amp. To each their own taste, I suppose...
