PMC’s aerodynamic Laminair vent takes audio performance to the next level by applying the aerodynamic principles of ATL high-performance engineering used from F1 to Le Mans, creating an even smoother laminar airflow at the transmission line’s exit.

I haven't invested the necessary time for multiple comparisons with other speakers, as one ideally should in a serious "audiophile" quest. So, my opinion should be taken with the caveat that I lack reference points.

That being said, I think very highly of these speakers, even though I don't believe I yet have the DAC/streamer to fully unlock their potential—I am currently using an Astell & Kern portable player, which is excellent for its standard use but probably not designed to recreate a wide and deep soundstage—and even though my listening room is likely far from ideal, acoustically speaking. Even in my current setup, paired with an amplifier from Moonriver, the portable A&K DAC, and without any specific acoustic treatment (but paying attention to speaker positioning and avoiding glass tables), the result is already more than pleasing. These speakers exude musicality, so to speak, and I've already heard details in tracks that I hadn't noticed with (good) headphones on the same DAC. I also feel that the isolation system between the speakers and their stands works very well.

It’s worth noting that PMC mentions a "break-in" period, which I don't think I've completed yet. While I am somewhat skeptical about such claims, the subjective impressions I describe above were present from the very first listens.

Même dans ma configuration actuelle, mariées à un ampli de chez Moonriver, avec le DAC portable A&K et sans traitement acoustique particulier (mais en faisant attention au positionnement des enceintes et en éliminant les tâbles en verre) le résultat est déjà plus que plaisant. Ces enceintes respirent la musicalité, pour ainsi dire, et j'ai déjà entendu des détails sur des morceaux que je n'avais pas entendus avec de (bons) écouteurs sur le même DAC. J'ai aussi l'impression que le dispositif d'isolation entre les enceintes et leurs supports marche très bien.

A noter que PMC annonce un temps de "rôdage" que je ne pense pas avoir encore complété. Si je suis quelque peu sceptique au sujet des affirmations de ce genre, les impressions subjectives que je décris ci-dessus étaient de toute manière là dès les premières écoutes.
