THX Dominus

The THX Dominus label, one of THX’s new certification labels, is intended for very high-performance home theater systems. It requires a sound level of 105 dB at 6 meters from the screen, in a room of approximately 185 m³ (75 m²). This label is the most demanding of THX’s four recent certifications (along with THX Compact, THX Select, and THX Ultra), guaranteeing cinema-quality sound reproduction in large spaces. THX thus aims to help consumers choose audio equipment suited to their needs based on the size of their room.
