Very good sound for audiophiles. I connected it via HDMI for DVDs and analog for CDs. It's perfect with my recently purchased Cambridge amplifier and I'm rediscovering my music. Of course, the speakers need to be up to par. I have Focal speakers and it works well.

Pros: image and sound.
Cons: I don't see any.

Broke down quickly, which is a shame for a player of this quality; I had too little time to judge its potential
