What the press says
(...) If you have a limited budget, the choice is obvious for a living room under 25 m². In terms of performance, the TX-NR545 retains what has always made it successful for home theater use: excellent dynamics, quality spatialization, and consistent generosity. This year, we particularly appreciate the few changes made by the manufacturer to its AccuEQ calibration system, and most importantly, the higher quality preamplification. Although some improvements are still necessary, we note better management of the bass channel this year, which now has a little less tendency to overflow, and a better-illuminated upper spectrum. All in all, a good vintage.

A bit disappointed with this generation of "BD-4K UHD" amplifiers with HDMI in/out for True HD 7.1 Blu-ray needs. Lacks punch compared to its predecessors and is way too complicated to configure with many "useless" settings. Also missing a front HDMI input (e.g. for PS4). Otherwise it does the job but without brilliance or passion, a pity...
