The RAP-1580 is an ideal home theater solution for anyone who doesn’t have space for separate components but wants uncompromising audio performance. It’s an ultra-high performance integrated multi-channel amplifier with surround processing that brings music and movies to life in spectacular fashion. Equipped with the latest HDMI 2.0a hardware, DTS:X and Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 audio processing and decoding, its amplifier section is Class AB with a high power output of 7 x 100 W per channel, all channels driven into 8 ohms, all powered by an oversized toroidal transformer designed and manufactured by Rotel.

The RAP-1580 uses high-performance Wolfson 24-bit/192kHz DACs for all channels. These low-noise, audiophile-grade DACs are paired with premium audio components, integrated into circuits optimized by Rotel’s acoustic engineering team in the UK.

The inputs, including 8 HDMI video inputs, as well as the two HDMI video outputs, are all compatible with 4K video passthrough. Three of these inputs, as well as both outputs, are compatible with HDCP 2.2. A large seven-inch TFT screen on the front panel allows for easy adjustment of all audio and video parameters without needing to turn on the TV or projection system. This is ideal for configuring the system, especially when the unit is integrated into a rack away from the video display system. Extensive customization features are also built into the product.

Other features include a front-panel HDMI input with 4K video passthrough and a front-panel USB input for iPod with 2.1A charging current. The unit incorporates aptX Bluetooth technology for high-quality wireless connectivity. The RAP-1580 also has a PC-USB input compatible with 24-bit/192kHz audio, a high-quality MM phono input, a CD input, a balanced XLR input, a tuner input, an analog AUX input, and a multi-channel external input.
