Direct Drive Turntable: TUNR 5

The Reloop TURN5 is a hi-fi direct drive turntable equipped with a high-quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, renowned for its optimal sound quality. The turntable uses a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm, which, along with hydraulic lift and anti-skating adjustment, ensures optimal cartridge performance and accurate reproduction of the recording medium.

The TURN5 is powered by a direct drive DC motor, providing powerful drive with very constant rotation. This, combined with a low-resonance cast iron platter, eliminates any unwanted resonance and protects against vibrations, thus ensuring that no obstacles stand in the way of exceptional sound reproduction.

Design

The Reloop TURN5 Black is not just a high-performance turntable. It boasts an elegant design with a deep piano black finish, making it a timeless addition to any space. The gold-plated platter harmoniously floats above the cover plate, focusing the viewer’s attention on the disc.

The housing is built on a robust metal construction with shock-absorbing feet to isolate unwanted vibrations as much as possible and reduce ambient noise. The combination of multiple materials provides additional rigidity to the housing, further enhancing its durability and performance.

Key Features

The Reloop TURN5 Black is a quartz-controlled direct drive turntable that meets the highest sound requirements. It features three motor speeds (33 1/3, 45, 78 rpm), which can be selected with convenient controls on top. The turntable has a starting torque of 4500 g/cm and a start/rpm change time of less than 0.2 sec.

The turntable platter is made of die-cast aluminum, with a diameter of 332 mm and a weight of approximately 1.8 kg (including rubber mat). The dimensions of the turntable are 458 (W) x 368.3 (D) x 162.4 (H) mm, and it weighs approximately 12.8 kg.
