Furutech e-TP80ES

The e-TP80ES is a sophisticated power strip of luxurious construction that eliminates many common problems encountered with audio and video components caused by massively contaminated power. The AC waveform is severely distorted by ground noise, voltage spikes and dips, high-frequency power supply noise from other components in your own system, as well as high-frequency digital noise radiated from processors and digital interconnects.

There are also distortion products at the top and bottom of the AC waveform created by the switching power supplies of electronic devices on the same circuit. Plus, you’re never alone; your residential power is shared with other apartments, homes and businesses on the same transformer. That’s why many audio and video enthusiasts notice their systems sound better late at night or on weekends!

Beautifully designed aluminum chassis effectively shields against another common problem, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), and a layer of Formula GC-303 blocks out Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Internal wiring is made of FURUTECH μ-14 (14 AWG) wire ensuring low resistance.

Furutech Hyper Quality Audio Grade receptacles (e-TP80ES: schuko socket) are wired to the IEC AC input. The sockets (e-TP80ES: schuko sockets) feature non-magnetic phosphor bronze conductors plated with gold for stable, long-lasting, optimized energy transfer.

Formula GC-303 Treatment

GC-303 is a special material Furutech bonds to the bottom plate inside the chassis that absorbs any EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) noise that may be transmitted by your power source or generated by the unit’s internal components.
