Soundbars with subwoofer

Soundbars with subwoofers combine a bar placed beneath the television with a separate subwoofer, most often connected wirelessly. The subwoofer handles the low frequencies and the LFE channel in films: bass goes deeper and hits harder than with a soundbar alone, without overloading the main unit. Each component requires a power outlet, pairing is automatic, and the subwoofer can be positioned fairly freely in the room, often near a wall. Available in 2.1, 3.1 or 5.1 configurations, with virtual surround and Dolby Atmos depending on the model. This selection of soundbars brings together systems supplied with their subwoofer, often upgradeable with surround speakers added later.
