Compact, lively, high-performance speakers are now an integral part of the British tradition – and B&W has greatly contributed to this. But you have certainly never seen anything like this before.

The XT2 is made from a very large piece of extruded aluminum, with a 25mm aluminum dome tweeter at the top, loaded according to the Nautilus™ tube principle, and a Flowport™ pressure relief vent for its 130mm Kevlar® cone mid/bass driver.

The compactness of the XT2, combined with its very high-performance drivers, and also thanks to the rigidity of the slightly curved aluminum, gives it a musical reproduction free from any cabinet coloration, with the precise and transparent drivers revealing even the most subtle sound details, whether it’s music or movie soundtracks.

The XT2 will be perfectly at ease in a conventional stereo Hi-Fi system, or as a main or rear Surround speaker in a Home Cinema installation. Pair it with the PV1 active subwoofer, and you’ll have a system with no limitations – very wide bandwidth, high power, in short, an iron fist in a velvet glove. Or, as the British say: a wolf in sheep’s clothing…

The XT2 offers you the sound of a true studio monitor speaker, compact but very transparent, with the unique advantage of a contemporary yet luxurious presentation, thanks to the satin and polished aluminum from which it is composed.
