tw-acustic has set the highest standards and tightest tolerances for the manufacturing of all its exceptional products.

The platter of the RAVEN AC is constructed from a composite material combining the exceptional properties of copper with those of a special polymer. The musical reproduction benefits from breathtaking depth and layering of the sound stage, with great substance for each instrument. The sonic presentation becomes clearer and more relaxed. This platter is driven by a maintenance-free belt.

The control of the silent and vibration-free DC motor has recently been perfected. The new controller is designed to allow control of three motors in case of future evolution towards this option. The drive belt, machined with extreme precision (1/100th of a mm!) and the drive pulley(s) with very tight and matched tolerances (inside of pulleys machined to 0.5/100th of a millimeter) constitute an optimal basis for the required precision.

The tonearm support is made of bronze as standard. It is equipped with an adapter inserted at the top which allows easy mounting of tonearms from any origin.

The three feet are designed to eliminate any parasitic vibration. They combine a ceramic ball and a spring. They are adjustable in height.
