Listening to a vinyl record is a very special experience, with a little something extra that a digital system can’t quite reproduce. However, not all hi-fi amplifiers are capable of directly connecting a turntable. You need to connect a phono preamplifier so that the weak signal transmitted by the turntable is powerful enough for your main amplifier.
