OPPO PM-2 EU

The OPPO PM-2 orthodynamic headphones retain the acoustic qualities of their big brother, the OPPO PM-1 (EISA AWARD 2014-2015 winner), at a more affordable price. Very similar to the OPPO PM-1, the PM-2 delivers rich, natural, dynamic sound with astonishing audio quality while combining exceptional comfort and reduced weight. The PM-2 uses the same driver as the PM-1 and the same proprietary technology, namely a unique 7-layer diaphragm, double-sided spiral voice coils, and an FEM-optimized magnet system.

The OPPO PM-2 EU utilizes proprietary planar magnetic transducers. It stands out from most headphones on the market by generating sound with a very thin, lightweight diaphragm that is uniformly driven across its entire surface area. The diaphragm is driven in a symmetric push-pull manner (bipolar radiation forward and backward), and the magnetic system models and conductor have been optimized for maximum sensitivity and consistency. This allows the diaphragm to generate highly stable and linear piston-like vibrations while ensuring good phase coherence, high-resolution performance, and minimal distortion.
