The NRG-Z2 cable goes even further: it features semi-rigid, concentric 7-strand perfect-surface copper (PSC+) conductors. Thanks to their exceptional characteristics, these conductors minimize the distortion caused by grain boundaries and irregularities in conventional metal conductors.
Drawn metal has an asymmetrical and therefore directional grain structure. AudioQuest controls the corresponding variation in RF impedance to shift noise away from areas where it would cause distortion. The shielded, silver-plated drain conductors effectively remove RF noise traveling along the line and neutral shields via the ground pin on the wall plug. That’s why, contrary to expectations, the 2-pole “2” models include a ground pin.

Replaced the original cable of my Naim Mu-so 2 all-in-one hi-fi (used for home cinema). The sound is incomparably dynamic and defined without being tiring, with deep, ultra-defined bass. It's amazing how the impact can remain subtle for some. Over time, you feel the difference, allowing for optimal sound immersion with good equipment. It's also worth noting the high-quality HDMI and RJ45.
