Naim Audio NAC252

The NAC 252 has a strong pedigree: it is the direct descendant of the NAC 52, which is still one of the most sophisticated preamplifiers ever designed. Capable of delivering exceptional sound clarity, it operates with power supply components housed in a separate enclosure: the SuperCap power supply unit. This device ensures optimal isolation from electromagnetic interference and guarantees an independent, perfectly regulated supply voltage for each of the ten audio circuits. In addition, separate power supplies for digital control and switching circuitry further isolate the audio circuit from noise. It is this attention to detail that gives the NAC 252 its special character, not to mention our determination that nothing should stand in the way of your musical enjoyment.

Many designs were considered for the NAC 252 and the circuit topology and components were completely rethought based on improvements made to amplifiers such as the NAC52. We spent hundreds of hours listening to various designs and making sure we never disturbed the harmony between music and technology. Ten independently regulated power supplies are supplied by the associated SuperCap power supply. Totally separate regulated power supplies dedicated to digital control and switching ensure no noise in the audio circuits.
