The 703 is a true three-way loudspeaker. The impressive paper and Kevlar cones of the two bass drivers are stiffened by our unique “mushroom” assembly system, named for its mushroom-like shape.

This assembly works in parallel with a tuned Flowport enclosure to reproduce the full range of bass frequencies.

Freed from the need to reproduce bass, the specialized FST midrange driver operates within its own isolated enclosure inside the cabinet.

The combination of its Kevlar cone and a suspension ring with mechanical characteristics aligned to those of the cone allows this driver to precisely capture the most subtle nuances of the signal, restoring the original timbre of instruments and positioning them accurately within the soundstage.

The tube-loaded tweeter is mounted freely on top of the cabinet to deliver that sense of airiness and lack of physical existence of the speaker that one experiences with real instruments.
