Loewe We. SEE 48 OLED dc
Overview
OLED in a compact format: this 48-inch model from Loewe’s We. range combines an Ultra HD WRGB panel in Coal Black finish with the German manufacturer’s in-house os9 interface. The Invisible Sound audio system delivers 60 watts across six speakers with Dolby Atmos decoding. Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ compatibility covers the main video formats. The dual channel technology, indicated by the “dc” suffix in the name, allows recording one channel while watching another.
The 48-inch OLED panel and its image processing
WRGB OLED technology turns off each pixel individually, producing absolute blacks and contrast with no visible gradation. Loewe claims a peak brightness of 800 cd/m² and a 120-degree viewing angle, two figures that place this model in the upper mid-range of OLED panels of this size. The one-millisecond response time prevents ghosting in fast-moving scenes.
The four main HDR formats are supported: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision IQ. This latter variant adapts color rendering to the ambient light measured by the TV, useful in a room where lighting changes throughout the day. The wide color gamut (WCG) covers the modern color spaces used in streaming and UHD Blu-ray. Ultra HD upscaling supports lower-definition sources, common on DTT and some streaming channels.
For movie content, 24p handling reproduces the original frame rate without unwanted interpolation. Auto Dimming, AI Picture Quality, and adaptive contrast functions adjust the picture according to the content and the environment.
The 60-watt Invisible Sound system
Six speakers are built into the base of the TV, in a downward-firing orientation to bounce the sound off the surface of the cabinet. Total music power reaches 60 watts, including 30 watts RMS distributed across two channels, with Class D amplification. Loewe calls this setup Invisible Sound: no grille is visible on the front, preserving the understated design.
Dolby Atmos decoding is built in, along with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD. On a TV of this size, the result is still limited by the available air volume: dialogue comes through clearly, but bass extension and spatialization reach their limits in the most complex scenes. Loewe anticipates this with two expansion outputs, an optical Toslink output, and a 3.5 mm jack subwoofer output, allowing connection of a subwoofer or an external soundbar.
Automatic volume control corrects differences between commercials and programs, and the equalizer remains accessible to adjust the sound to the room’s acoustics.
The os9 ecosystem and streaming
On this model, Loewe uses its os9 interface, built on VIDAA and customized in-house. Navigation is fast, and the main streaming services come preinstalled: Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, Deezer, Zattoo, HD+, and Magenta TV. The full app store allows other services to be added as needed.
The connected ecosystem is comprehensive. The TV supports Apple AirPlay for sharing content from an iPhone or Mac, the Matter protocol for connected devices, and voice control via VIDAA Voice or Alexa Skills. The DLNA player accesses files stored on a NAS or a computer on the local network, and a web browser is integrated for occasional use.
Control4 and Crestron compatibility allows integration into a home automation setup controlled by these two professional protocols.
Gaming and HDMI 2.1 connectivity
Two HDMI 2.1 inputs support Ultra HD at 120 Hz, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low latency mode (ALLM). These three functions meet the requirements of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and recent graphics cards. HDCP 2.3 ensures compatibility with the latest-generation protected content.
The one-millisecond response time and the absence of backlighting inherent to OLED technology limit motion blur during fast movement. The two remaining HDMI 2.0b inputs accept standard Ultra HD sources at 60 Hz: Blu-ray player, operator set-top box, older computer. One of the HDMI outputs supports eARC for audio return to a soundbar or home theater amplifier.
Dual channel technology and linear TV
The “dc” suffix designates the dual channel version: two triple tuners are built in, allowing playback of one program and simultaneous recording of another to a USB hard drive. Timeshift works on the same principle, with live pause capability.
The three main standards are supported (DVB-T2 HD for DTT, DVB-C for cable, DVB-S2 for satellite), with support for the DiSEqC and Unicable protocols for complex satellite installations. DVB radio and teletext complete support for legacy standards. The split-screen function allows two sources to be displayed in parallel, for example a TV program and a connected app.
Up to 10,000 channels can be stored, and the electronic program guide (EPG) makes it easier to navigate between broadcasters.
Design, mounting, finish
The Coal Black finish leans toward satin dark gray, without overly pronounced reflections. Loewe entrusted the aesthetics of this range to its Loewe Colab entity, which ensures visual consistency across the brand’s different models. The chassis is slim (6.6 cm deep without the stand), and the panel extends almost to the side edges. The materials combine glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and glass, in a pursuit of rigidity.
The supplied table stand swivels 45 degrees to either side of the central axis, adjusting the screen orientation according to the listening position. Wall mounting is VESA 300 x 300 mm compatible, and the TV also accepts floor and ceiling mounts marketed by Loewe. The whole unit weighs 14.7 kg without the stand and 19.2 kg with its support.
The connectivity is partly concealed by the structured rear housing, which is only visible in profile when the TV is placed on a cabinet. The compact format (107.7 cm wide) makes installation easier in restricted spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Invisible Sound system sufficient without an external soundbar?
For typical TV use (news, series, sports), the 60 watts distributed across six speakers provide comfortable volume and clear enough dialogue intelligibility. For movies with a strong emphasis on spectacle or action-oriented video games, the bass extension and dynamics of an external soundbar or a separate subwoofer remain preferable. Loewe offers its klang bar3, klang bar5 mr, and klang sub1 modules, compatible with this TV via eARC or Bluetooth.
What is the difference between the “dc” version and the model without a suffix?
The suffix “dc” stands for dual channel, that is, two triple tuners instead of just one. This configuration allows you to record one channel while watching another, or pause live TV with a connected USB hard drive. The model without the suffix offers an identical panel but has only one triple tuner, which prevents these parallel recording functions.
Is the TV suitable for competitive gaming?
The two HDMI 2.1 inputs support Ultra HD at 120 Hz, VRR, and ALLM, which covers the needs of current consoles and recent graphics cards. The one-millisecond OLED response time limits motion blur. For competitive PC use with a refresh rate above 120 Hz, a dedicated monitor remains more suitable, but on consoles the TV meets current requirements.
Which Loewe accessories can be paired to extend the sound?
The Loewe klang range offers several compatible modules. The klang bar3 or klang bar5 mr soundbar connects via eARC to the dedicated HDMI output and takes over from the Invisible Sound system for Dolby Atmos decoding. The klang sub1 subwoofer connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to add a dedicated bass channel. The 3.5 mm jack subwoofer output also supports subwoofers from other references if a wired integration is preferred.
Is the wall mount included?
No, only the rotating table stand is included. The wall mounting complies with the VESA 300 x 300 mm standard, common among third-party mount manufacturers. Loewe also markets its own wall mounting solutions, as well as floor and ceiling stands, sold separately. Before purchasing a third-party mount, check its compatibility with the TV’s weight of 14.7 kg without the stand.
Which multichannel audio formats are decoded internally?
The television natively decodes Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD formats. Dolby Atmos tracks are reproduced by the six built-in speakers using virtualization processing, in the absence of physical height channels. For more faithful object-based reproduction, using eARC to connect to an Atmos-compatible soundbar or amplifier with height speakers is still recommended.
