Frequently Asked Questions

Which cartridges can be mounted on this turntable?

The removable headshell uses the universal standard and accepts a wide range of cartridges, weighing 5.6 to 12 g on their own, or 14.3 to 20.7 g including the headshell. The 6 mm tonearm height adjustment and adjustable tracking force from 0 to 4 g accommodate both a robust conical DJ cartridge and a finer listening cartridge.

Do you need a phono preamp to use it with active speakers?

Yes. Without a built-in phono stage, the turntable outputs a phono-level signal that must be equalized before amplification. In a conventional system, the amplifier’s MM phono input is sufficient. For active speakers without a phono input, an external phono preamp must be placed between the turntable and the speakers.

Is this DJ turntable also suitable for home listening?

Yes. It is a fully manual turntable, whose adjustable tonearm and universal headshell accommodate hi-fi cartridges. Paired with a suitable cartridge and a phono input, it is equally suited to relaxed listening and mixing use.

What is the 78 rpm speed still used for?

It allows you to play old shellac records recorded at this speed, as well as certain modern reissues that use it. For a DJ, it is another string to their bow, just like reverse playback.

Can the connecting cable be replaced?

Yes. The PHONO cable is detachable and has its own ground terminal. You can replace it with a lower-capacitance cable, which is genuinely beneficial with certain MM cartridges that are sensitive to the capacitive load of the connection.

When is this edition available?

Deliveries of the anniversary series begin in September 2026. As production is limited to 12,000 units across all colors and each turntable is numbered, quantities per finish remain limited.
