Overview

A renowned French hi-fi magazine chose the Cayin 500 as its reference. It’s no surprise that this integrated double tetrode tube amplifier dominates the French market in its price range.

In neighboring countries, the press and audiophiles have reacted with the same enthusiasm. However, we found room for improvement in this product.

The new Cayin 500MK Remote offers, in addition to revised and improved equipment, more power and acoustically optimized circuits.

Expressed in numbers, Cayin’s development efforts result in an increase in output power from 70 to 80 watts per channel and a reduction in distortion from 0.8 to 0.6%. As the Cayin 500 has always held an exceptional position due to its GU-29 tubes that no other audio manufacturer has ever used, its successor pushes the plasticity of reproduction and resolution of details even further.

On the MK model, the inputs are now placed at the rear where no cables obstruct the view and where the speaker output terminals are particularly robust. The chrome chassis is now well highlighted. There’s no need to explain the practical advantage of the remote control. In its MK version, the Cayin 500 has matured to satisfy demanding listeners who want to combine aesthetics with music.
