Ideal for use with DLP and other 2 million pixel projectors

Imaging is known to be optimal when the projected image is precisely bordered by matte black edges, which provide a significant increase in contrast with an “image stop”.

Achieving this is done by using motorized masks to adjust the black borders of the image to its actual size, which depends on the source aspect ratio.

The TAM 2 (True Aspect Ratio Masking - 2 way) is an acoustically transparent projection screen using the Enlightor fabric range, equipped with automated side masks controlled by electronic solution systems for a complete solution, a versatile interface with any home automation system. It can also be simply controlled by IR from RF remote controls.

One of the most remarkable features of the TAM-2 screen is that its frame width is exactly the same (94mm) as the fixed reference series, which is simply because it uses the profile of the same frame. Only a slight extension to the rear conceals the motor assemblies, the total depth being 140 mm.

The side motor masks of the TAM-2 screen are made of our specialty black-backed acoustically transparent fabric, and the projection material is one of our Enlightor fabrics selected to the customer’s preference.
