NAD CI 9060

Power

Many amplifiers designed for multi-zone use are limited in power. NAD’s choice to offer 6 x 80 W with the CI 9060 with all channels driven (full power) takes into account the particularities of home installations. Music distribution often needs to be carried out from one end of the house to the other, and the series resistance of long cables can sometimes be a difficulty that a good power reserve easily overcomes.

OMC Limitation

NAD’s proprietary Output Management Circuit (OMC) regulates power according to the load, within reasonable limits. When the load drops below 3 Ω, for example when speakers are connected in parallel or in case of too low load impedance, this device limits the power level and eliminates risks, both for the output stages and for what is connected to the amplifier. An orange LED on the front panel indicates this intervention.

Flex-Pad

The Flex Pad is a connection configuration system (patchbay) that allows the CI 9060 to power 1 to 6 independent zones in any mono or stereo configuration. This accessory of the CI 9060 facilitates the installer’s work and avoids wiring errors thanks to its perfect clarity.
