Overview

The first striking aspect of this brand new Audio/Video receiver is its elegant aluminum front panel, with the luminous display recessed. A tribute to classic Marantz aesthetics. Even more astonishing: the sound quality, an addictive cocktail of unlimited power, stunning detail respect and sensational depth. Aspects that owe much to current feedback technology and even more to HDAM preamplification and power stages developing 7 x 125 W into 8 Ω. Moreover, these excellent sound performances apply to all your music sources.

The SR7007 has a USB input port, compatible with digital playback from iPod, and a network port on RJ45. In other words, it allows you to listen to Internet radio stations, AirPlay compatible devices, online music services such as Last.fm and allows access to file libraries stored on your PC, etc. with better audio playback. In addition, video signals are also handled with the utmost care, thanks to advanced video processing on the 6+1 HDMI inputs and 2+1 outputs (dual output for the main zone + Multi Zone output).

All are 3D compatible, 4k Pass-through and 4k video scaling. Other important high-level features include gold-plated RCA & SPKR connectors, Audyssey MultEQ XT auto-calibration function and Audyssey DSX processing for the best Surround sound sensations. The front panel connectors (HDMI & USB) facilitate the connection of mobile players, tablets, an iPad/iPhone, a camera or a camcorder. Last detail: a central flap pivots to reveal a complementary two-line display.
