Overview

The AV7702 model is extremely versatile. This preamp perfectly handles all forms of high-resolution multichannel audio formats. It also features numerous network capabilities for streaming audio, Internet radio stations, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay. It even has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth functions. However, to enjoy the optimal quality of the latest high-resolution DSD and FLAC HD audio formats, we recommend a wired connection for streaming this music.

The AV7702 will produce superb multichannel sound quality from these formats, guaranteed by a powerful 32-bit SHARC DSP that ensures channel separation and absolutely avoids any crosstalk. Audio processing includes Audyssey DSX, DTS Neo:X 11.1, and the latest decoding technology, Dolby Atmos, which not only produces breathtaking multichannel sound but also allows you to enter the world of 3D sound. Moreover, the AV7702, compatible with 11.2 channels, further enhances audio quality by handling all signals via HDAM current feedback preamplification circuits, a Marantz exclusive, before sending them to the separate power amplification block and the high-quality RCA and XLR 11.2 or 13.2 outputs.

The AV7702 also takes great care of video signals via its eight HDMI inputs for 4K 60Hz transmission or upscaling, sending them to the two HDMI output ports or, independently, to a third HDMI port reserved for the multi-room function. It even has an input for a moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge – ideal for your precious vinyl records. Setup and control are quick and easy thanks to the high-resolution graphical user interface, which also includes Audyssey MultEQ XT32 auto-calibration. Everything is there, ready to enchant you.
