Once again, Atoll's expertise is not in question. The result is a tuner whose musicality is immediately apparent. However, once again Atoll's technical choices can be debated: In 2015, a tuner that is not RDS seems from another era. Before purchasing, it didn't even occur to me to check this detail! Minimizing the number of circuits to excel in sound...yes...but...not to that extent! We were already deprived of balance and tone controls for this reason on the IN 100 SE, and now it's RDS. So this is an old-school tuner where you search for stations blindly! Get your frequency lists ready! The permanent standby mode, dear to Atoll as well, seems hardly eco-friendly in a period when manufacturers appear increasingly concerned about the power consumption of their devices.
Pros: build quality, aesthetics, musicality.
Cons: non-RDS tuner.
