Overview

PowerSync ULTRA (formerly known as LC-3 EVO) is the best copper power cord we have ever produced. The cable construction has been completely redesigned. The technical solutions are closer to those used in the higher-end LS series. The conductors are made from 99.997% pure copper (OFHC C10100, 5N), further subjected to an annealing process, allowing them to achieve a uniform structure and better conductance.

The design is an 8 x 1.5 mm2 wire, where each wire consists of 7 strands, spun in a tight pitch. The twisted conductors ensure a significant reduction in cable inductance while maintaining a favorably high self-capacitance. The cable wires are protected by a static shield made of laminated aluminum foil. The watertight shield construction covers 100% of the cable surface, perfectly protecting against all kinds of external interference, EMI, and RFI noise. Moreover, the shielding prevents the appearance and propagation of internal interference and directs stray currents to the ground wire. During cable construction, great attention was devoted to reducing vibrations created by the induced electromagnetic field around the conductors.

All wires and shielding are covered with an elastic material that dampens unwanted vibrations. The cable is further protected from the outside by an antistatic braid, which prevents the accumulation of static charges.

The PowerSync ULTRA uses the highest quality power plugs. Their massive construction ensures extraordinary durability and reliability. The plug housing is made of compact aluminum. Their solid connectors are made of rhodium-plated brass, which guarantees low impedance and a greater number of connection cycles without loss of parameters. The connectors have also undergone cryogenic treatment and demagnetization. All conductors are connected without using tin, and the plug connections are bolted, minimizing plug impedance and ensuring reliability.

PowerSync ULTRA is designed for advanced audio systems. It can successfully power the strip or conditioner to which the entire system is connected. Due to its large cross-section, it is particularly recommended for applications related to high power consumption.
