The PSU-XR represents the latest advancement in external power supplies from Cyrus, specially designed for high-fidelity electronic components. This separate power supply offers an innovative approach to ensure clean and stable power delivery to all compatible Cyrus XR products.

Performance and Flexibility

Unlike conventional power supplies, the PSU-XR features an integrated microprocessor that communicates directly with the host product. This intelligent communication ensures that the PSU-XR provides the optimal configuration of power sources requested by the host product, thereby enhancing performance and sound quality.

The PSU-XR is equipped with five independent power supplies, each designed to meet the specific needs of the connected XR component. These include a high-capacity logic supply for digital circuits, two fixed-voltage supplies for low-voltage analog circuits, and two variable-voltage supplies for analog circuits with varying power consumption requirements.

Reduction of Electrical Noise

With fifteen separate transformer windings, ground-isolated regulation circuits, and separate output power and ground returns in the umbilical cable, the PSU-XR effectively minimizes electrical noise, preserving the integrity of the audio signal.

Enhanced Musical Experience

Offering up to 60% more power compared to the previous PSX-R2 model, the PSU-XR stands out with its increased capacity, ensuring optimal performance even in demanding configurations.
