The CD5 XS has undergone more research and development work than the CD5X, the predecessor on which it is based.

Almost every element except the power transformer and the disc transport mechanism is new or has been substantially revised.

Fundamental elements, including the analog circuits, have been updated to extract even more music from your CDs.
