Pioneer SC-LX85

As its prestigious predecessor did in its time, the emblematic Susano, the SC-LX85 ushers Home Cinema into a new era, thanks to its versatility and ability to sublimate all audiovisual sources.

Its openness to multimedia offers it unparalleled versatility: DLNA 1.5 / Windows 7 / Airplay certified, iPod / iPhone / iPad compatible for audio and video, integrating the vTuner base to provide access to web radios, the SC-LX85 is undoubtedly the ideal machine to centralize all your sources. Moreover, it offers remarkably simple ergonomics.

First, the AV Navigator software allows you to discover and install your amplifier like never before. The iControl AV2 application, available for iPod / iPhone and iPad, allows you to control your amplifier in a radically innovative and obvious way.

Audio processing has also evolved significantly. Based on a new Class D Direct Energy HD IOR amplification developing 190W on 9 channels, the SC-LX85 delivers the most demanding HD tracks with power and realism. The prestigious THX Ultra2 Plus certification as well as that of London’s AIR studios are clear proof of this.

The Hi-Bit / Hi-Sampling 32 bit technology, by resampling audio sources, provides distortion-free reproduction in the high frequencies. Even better: via its D/A converter offering 3 types of listening, a world first in this segment, the SC-LX85 will meet the expectations of every audiophile.

The video processing integrated into the SC-LX85 offers, among other things, 4 image modes adapted to different types of screens, in addition to the expert mode offering 10 levels of adjustment. In addition, the Advance Video Adjust takes into account the viewer’s distance from the screen based on MCACC measurements and adapts several parameters including the triple HD noise reducer to offer the best possible reproduction under all circumstances.

1080p-24 Hz upscaling as well as the Stream Smoother process adapted to low definition sources allow all video sources to be reproduced with impressive realism and level of detail.
