The SR5007 also features Marantz’s iconic circular front display and offers the same network audio functions from PC and Android, listening to Internet radio stations, and AirPlay from iTunes or an iPhone/iPad/iPod. It also incorporates decoders for the most common audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio. It boasts no fewer than six HDMI inputs, including one on the front panel compatible with 3D video, 4k, and ARC (Audio Return Channel, if the TV also supports it).

Video signals with reduced resolution can also undergo 4k upscaling. It effortlessly handles the most demanding scenes in action movies, and, thanks to Marantz’s latest audio technologies, it delivers excellent music playback quality. To ensure the best possible sound with compressed digital audio files, the 7 x 100 W SR5007 is equipped with M-DAX2 processing, “version 2 of the Marantz Dynamic Expander,” which also optimizes the quality of MP3 files burned to CD or arriving via the optional RX101 Bluetooth receiver. The result is clearer, more detailed, and more vibrant sound.

Finally, the SR5007 is packed with a host of handy features, such as the Setup Assistant, automatic calibration via Audyssey MultEQ XT and Dynamic Volume Control, multi-source multi-room audio, and a Video Off mode ensuring you enjoy your music and movies with the best Marantz dynamics.
