Sophisticated yet accessible technology, design inherited from Yamaha’s HiFi tradition
Various technologies ensure high-quality CD playback, such as a variable-speed buffer memory to stabilize disc rotation, limiting vibrations and mechanical interference. The external design is understated yet elegant, similar to all Yamaha HiFi devices: an ultra-thin loading tray and aluminum rotary knobs on a brushed aluminum faceplate.

Alain
Excellent CD player/streamer. A very practical - all-in-one - and very simple way to transition a classic setup (tube amp in my case) to digital... And the sound is really excellent (I mostly use it with CDs and with Airplay). The only downside is no digital output, which is not a problem in my case (I don't have a digital input on my amp) and besides, since the internal DAC is very good, an analog connection is not a handicap.

Superb device. Don't be fooled by its appearance, it easily supports my Advance Acoustic IX 105 or Atoll IN 200 SE amplifier. USB key is easy to use, radio is top-notch, and CD playback is superb. All this at a very reasonable price.
Pros: Excellent.
