Floorstanding Speaker: Diamond 230

The Wharfedale Diamond 230 floorstanding speaker is the most modest of the floorstanding speakers in the Wharfedale Diamond 200 range. This 2.5-way bass-reflex speaker offers beautiful acoustic performance at a reasonable cost, staying true to the principles that led to the creation of the Diamond range in 1982. The Wharfedale Diamond 230 speaker has relatively reasonable dimensions and a very flattering glossy vinyl finish, ideal for discreet integration into a living room.

The Wharfedale Diamond 230 floorstanding speaker is capable of offering great sensations, both for purely musical use and for home theater use. It is perfectly at ease in a medium-sized room (up to about 25-30 m2).

Center Speaker: Diamond 220C

The Wharfedale Diamond 220C center speaker receives the same mobile equipment as the Wharfedale Diamond 220C bookshelf speaker in a 2-way bass-reflex configuration with two 13 cm diameter midrange-woofers flanking the tweeter. It ideally complements a home theater system composed of speakers from the Wharfedale Diamond 200 range, dedicated in particular to reproducing movie dialogues.

The Wharfedale Diamond 220C center speaker has relatively reasonable dimensions and a very neat finish, ideal for successful integration. Its tweeter is a 25 mm diameter soft dome model placed in the center of a crown acting as a waveguide, which improves its efficiency, especially in the immediate vicinity of the crossover frequency.

Bookshelf Speaker: Diamond 210

The Wharfedale Diamond 210 speaker has compact dimensions and a very flattering glossy vinyl finish, ideal for discreet integration into a bedroom.

The semi-elliptical opening vents on the woofer make the response smoother over the entire audible spectrum, and the cone edges are treated with an exclusive molded diamond pattern.

On the Diamond 200 range, Wharfedale engineers have improved and updated the overall design, and the speakers have been revised to deliver more power as well as better efficiency.

The tweeter uses a very thin fabric dome and a high-tech ferrite magnetic assembly, surrounded by a carefully profiled waveguide, which also improves its remarkable performance in the midrange.
