The NR1607 promises an exceptional new dimension in audio from a high-quality AV receiver. Equipped with high-current discrete power transistors on all seven channels, it delivers amazing power and clarity from a chassis only 4” high. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with dual antennas for greater stability, let you stream your favorite tracks via AirPlay or Spotify Connect, from thousands of Internet radio stations or local network storage devices (NAS), all in high resolution audio with renowned Marantz sound quality.

The NR1607 features immersive Dolby Atmos surround decoding to deliver breathtaking surround sound from modern movie soundtracks. Slim enough to slip into any TV cabinet, it provides the same Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound found in the finest movie theaters, creating an overhead surround soundfield to vastly expand the sonic canvas. A future firmware update will also enable the NR1607 to decode DTS:X soundtracks, for ultimate compatibility with the new world of 3D audio.

The NR1607 is also ready for the future of high definition video: its advanced video section is fully compatible with the latest HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 specifications on all eight HDMI inputs, so the latest video formats can be passed through to an Ultra HD TV or projector. It supports 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR), 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through for the ultimate compatibility with next generation Blu-ray disc players, set-top boxes, game consoles and 4K Ultra HD streaming/download content.

The receiver is also easy to setup and operate: the unique Marantz Setup Assistant ensures simple configuration while the free Marantz 2016 AVR Remote app, available from the Apple Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, lets you control the receiver from your smartphone or tablet.
