Knowing Q-Acoustics well as I also own Q-Acoustics Concept 500 speakers, I wanted a pair of speakers that could easily be placed on shelves. The opportunity presented itself with this destocking operation which further improved the quality-price ratio of these Q-Acoustics 3020 speakers that I was able to install behind a second Proton D540 amplifier. The result is very good; while these speakers don't have the bass depth of the Concept 500, their power and quality of treble and midrange allow me to appreciate classical, opera and jazz with very decent sound reproduction. However, these speakers deserve careful adjustment of their orientation due to their directivity and should be placed far from a wall. I am very satisfied with them.

Very satisfied, especially now that they are broken in.

I use this pair with a Marantz PM 5005 amplifier, and the sound is powerful and very clear. Q Acoustics delivers serious sound. Don't hold back because of the price of these speakers.
