Emotiva BasX A‐4

The BasX A4 is the perfect solution if you need a high-quality amplifier to power your Dolby Atmos and DTS:X channels. It’s also an excellent choice for powering your surround speakers if you’re building a new system and looking for a more powerful amplifier, like our XPA-3, to drive your front channels or power two pairs of zone speakers. The BasX A4 is a four-channel power amplifier that delivers 100W per channel into 8 ohms and 130W per channel into 4 ohms, with a rated THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise) of <0.02% and an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 115 dB. The Emotiva BasX-A4 features a robust linear power supply, high-quality Class A/B amplification, transparent fault protection, and trigger input and output.

The BasX-A4 also offers a convenient feature that allows the amp to turn on when an audio signal is detected at its input. This is especially useful if your preamp or integrated amplifier doesn’t offer a trigger output. The high-quality unbalanced RCA inputs allow the BasX-A4 to be used with virtually any preamp or processor, and the audiophile-grade speaker terminals accept banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wire.
