Clearaudio Concept Pack Performer Turntable
The Clearaudio Concept Pack Performer turntable is a high-end turntable designed and manufactured in Germany. It consists of a Concept turntable, a black aluminum Verify Concept tonearm, and a Performer V2 moving magnet cartridge. The entire set is factory pre-adjusted for plug-and-play use.
The turntable chassis features an optimized design to resist resonance phenomena. It is made of a medium-density natural wood fiber base, encased in aluminum, with a special satin plastic top layer to minimize resonances.
Motor and Drive
The drive is belt-driven via a DC motor completely decoupled from the chassis, isolating the vinyl record from mechanical interference. A ground flat belt is used to avoid the transmission of unwanted noise. The motor has an external power supply stabilized in voltage.
The rotation speed is electronically adjustable to 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM. The speed accuracy is ± 0.04%. The maximum power consumption is 1.5W, and 0.5W on average during operation.
Platter and Bearings
The turntable platter is made of POM, a high-performance synthetic material, with a thickness of 30 mm. It rests on an aluminum sub-platter. The bearings consist of a polished and hardened steel sleeve in a sintered bronze bushing, all resting on a Teflon mirror. This design allows for smooth and silent operation.
Tonearm and Cartridge
The supplied tonearm is a black aluminum Verify Concept. It is equipped with a frictionless magnetic axis, which helps reduce distortion and ensures precise groove tracking. The included moving magnet cartridge is a Clearaudio Performer V2. It is a high-end cartridge offering a rich, detailed, dynamic, and precise sound. The turntable is compatible with a wide range of other cartridges at the user’s choice.
