NorStone Eden Vision 200
NorStone Eden Vision 200, furniture for ultra-short-throw projectors
An ultra-short-throw video projector solves the space issue, but it still sits there in plain sight, and the screen is even harder to conceal on a wall. NorStone addresses both constraints with a low cabinet that houses the projector in a dedicated niche, retracts the Lumene screen inside its structure and hides the speakers behind an acoustic fabric front. Once the viewing session is over, the living room regains its understated look.
Making video projection disappear into the living room
Ultra-short-throw video projection solves the space problem: just a few centimetres of distance are enough for an image more than two metres wide. One detail is rarely addressed: the projector remains on top of the cabinet and the screen occupies a wall permanently. The Eden Vision 200 stores both elements inside the cabinet. The projector slips into a low central niche, while the Lumene screen rises from a housing concealed behind the structure and retracts after projection. A flap covers the rolled-up screen so that the top surface remains perfectly flat. When switched off, the Eden Vision 200 looks like an ordinary low sideboard.
Positioning the projector to the nearest millimetre
With an ultra-short-throw projector, image size depends directly on the distance from the screen, and a few millimetres are enough to throw the projection out of frame. Adjustment quickly becomes tedious, especially when the projector is balancing on the edge of the cabinet.
The central niche accommodates the vast majority of UST projectors on the market, but its dimensions should be checked against the exact size of your model. To fine-tune placement, NorStone offers the Motorized Slider as an option. This motorised tray moves the projector out of its niche, adjusts it and memorises its ideal position: the image returns properly framed every time it is switched on, without any handling. The tray extends from 370 to 710 mm deep when deployed and supports a maximum load of 25 kg.
A 92-inch screen that disappears
The Eden Vision 200 is designed around the Lumene Eden Extra Bright 200C screen, a 92-inch 16:9 screen (203 × 115 cm). Its housing is mounted at the rear of the cabinet and the screen rolls up completely in around thirty seconds.
The screen uses an ambient light-rejecting (ALR) surface designed for ultra-short-throw projection. It directs the light from the projector positioned below towards viewers, while absorbing light coming from the ceiling and sides. The image remains clear during the day or in a lit room, with a gain of 0.5 and a viewing angle of 175°. A dark room still delivers the best contrast, but the image remains usable without plunging the living room into darkness. This technology imposes one rule: the projector must be positioned below the screen, which the low niche accommodates by design. The screen is controlled separately from the cabinet.
Housing speakers and a soundbar without seeing them
The front panel is covered in black acoustic fabric that lets sound pass through while concealing what is behind it. A soundbar or several speakers can be placed there, with the doors closed, without degrading sound reproduction. The side storage compartments and central compartment open via gas-strut doors that are easy to operate and have no visible handles.
One point deserves attention before purchase: the available height behind the acoustic fabric is limited. A slim soundbar fits without issue, but a tall hi-fi centre speaker may not fit. It is best to compare the dimensions of your equipment with those of the cabinet, especially for the centre channel.
A deliberately low cabinet supplied for assembly
Beneath the black tempered-glass top, designed to hold up to 50 kg of electronics, the structure is made from high-resistance melamine. Only one finish is available: black. At 2458 mm wide and just 510 mm high, the cabinet is deliberately low: this reduced height suits ultra-short-throw geometry and prevents cropping the bottom of the image.
The Eden Vision 200 consists of three modules, a central section and two side units (Left 200 and Right 200), supplied unassembled in three boxes with screws, instructions and tools. Assembly is done at home and requires a little method. The central box alone weighs more than 33 kg, so plan for a second pair of hands for handling and assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Eden Vision 200 and the Eden Vision 240?
The 200 is the compact version in the range, measuring 2458 mm wide and designed for the 92-inch Lumene 200C screen. The 240 measures 2634 mm and accommodates the 100-inch 240C screen. The choice depends on the available wall width and desired image size; with identical features, only the scale changes.
Can the cabinet be used without the Lumene screen?
Yes. The projector niche, acoustic storage units and motorized platform operate independently of the screen. You can project onto a light-colored wall or onto an existing fixed screen, ceiling- or wall-mounted. The Eden Extra Bright 200C is ordered separately and can be added whenever you want the complete concealed integration.
Is the Motorized Slider essential?
No, it’s an option. Without it, the projector sits in the central recess and its setback is adjusted manually once and for all. The motorized platform takes over when the projection point falls right at the edge of the cabinet, or when automatic, memorized placement is preferred, readjusted to the millimeter each time it is switched on.
How is the screen mounted, and does the stand rest on the floor?
The unit simply sits on the floor, with no mandatory wall mounting due to its weight. The screen housing, meanwhile, is mounted at the back of the unit or against the wall, depending on the room configuration. The screen rises from this housing and then retracts inside once the viewing session is over.
Does the screen fabric require any special maintenance?
It receives anti-dust and anti-yellowing treatments, and its lateral tension keeps it flat to prevent warping over time. Gentle dusting is sufficient for routine use. Like any technical light-rejecting screen, it should be handled with care, as its micro-textures are directional.
Can a television be placed there instead of the projector?
Nothing prevents it: the tempered glass top can support up to 50 kg and easily accommodates a television or another source component. The projector niche and screen space then remain unused, but the acoustic storage compartments and fabric front still serve perfectly to conceal a soundbar or speakers.
