The UD7007 brings you this versatility, as beyond its status as a Blu-ray / DVD player, it is DLNA 1.5 certified and even provides access to the Netflix VOD (Video On Demand) service and YouTube Leanback online services. To ensure optimal audio quality in analog stereo from CD and SACD media, the UD7007 incorporates Marantz HDAM audio modules and uses optimized components, implemented on a dedicated audio board.

It also offers balanced XLR connectors in addition to the usual RCA (cinch) connectors. The fast-loading playback mechanism is protected from external interference by the aluminum top panel, acting as a shield, and a steel chassis. The player’s housing has remarkable rigidity, and an additional bottom plate adds further reinforcement, eliminating vibrations. Moreover, the electronics are divided into five different sections to minimize interference and achieve optimal audio/video quality.

In addition, the two HDMI output ports, compatible with 3D video, improve configuration flexibility and ensure excellent performance. But as with all Marantz players, musicality comes first: it’s no surprise, then, to find a “Pure Direct” listening mode ensuring the best possible performance for listening to CDs and SACDs.
