The new SA-14S1 features an oversized toroidal transformer and a high-power supply section that produces clean current to eliminate any interference between components. This is an ideal configuration for generating reference-quality sound, in addition to the Marantz disc mechanism that ensures faithful playback of CDs and SACDs. But this incredible player has other strengths as well. It incorporates a DAC mode virtually identical in functionality to that of the revolutionary NA-11S1. It is equipped with an optical digital input and a coaxial input, not to mention a USB-B port for direct connection to a PC.

The SA-14S1 can thus replace your PC’s sound card and its USB-B port works in asynchronous mode, compatible with both 192 kHz/24-bit modes, but also with 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz DSD, for increased versatility and performance.
