NorStone Eden Vision 270
Overview
Buying an ultra-short-throw projector solves the bulk of a giant TV, but raises other questions: where to place the device, how to hide the screen, where to house the speakers? NorStone brings these answers together in a single low cabinet, the widest in its home theater range, paired with the large 270 cm Lumene Eden screen. Projector, motorized screen and sound system all fit in the same place, then disappear once the viewing session is over.
The niche that conceals the projector
An ultra-short-throw (UST) projector sits just a few centimeters from the wall or screen and projects a large image from this very close position. For the geometry to remain correct, it must stay low and perfectly centered. That is the role of the Eden Vision 270’s central niche: the device fits inside without protruding from the cabinet, at the right height, instead of balancing on the edge of a console.
The structure is made of high-resistance melamine, topped with a black tempered-glass upper surface. The projector area supports up to 50 kg, enough for the vast majority of UST models on the market. Before buying, it is still useful to check your projector’s dimensions against the available space in the niche.
Adjust the throw distance to the millimeter
With an ultra-short-throw projector, image size and focus depend on the exact distance between the device and the screen. A few millimeters are enough to throw the image out of frame or make it blurry. Repositioning the projector by hand for every viewing session quickly becomes tedious.
The optional motorized tray addresses this exact issue. It slides the projector forward to a preset position when starting up, then returns it inside the cabinet once the film is over. Travel reaches 340 mm and supports up to 25 kg. Since the ideal position is stored, every viewing session has the same framing without adjustment. A fixed installation, where the projector never moves, can do without it and place the projector directly in the niche.
A retractable 270 cm screen
The rear niche is sized for the Lumene Eden Extra Bright 270C motorized floor-rising screen, with a 120-inch diagonal in 16:9 format. Its fabric uses ALR (ambient light rejection) technology: it reflects toward viewers the light coming from below, from the projector placed close to the floor, while absorbing light falling from the ceiling or windows. Contrast is therefore maintained even when the room is not completely dark, which matches real-world living-room use.
When stored, the screen disappears completely inside the cabinet; it deploys when projection begins. The screen is sold separately.
Sound passes through the front panel
The front panel is covered in black acoustic fabric, a textile that lets sound pass through without muffling it. A soundbar or several speakers can therefore be hidden behind it: the cabinet retains a uniform, enclosed appearance, while sound comes through unobstructed.
The side storage areas and central compartment close with gas-strut doors. The gas strut slows and assists both opening and closing, preventing slamming and making it easier to access an amplifier, network player or source stored inside.
Three meters to assemble at home
The Eden Vision 270 measures 3077 mm wide, 515 mm high and 600 mm deep. This width is its direct trade-off: it requires an unobstructed wall section just over three meters wide. Narrower rooms should opt for the two shorter formats, the Eden Vision 240 and Eden Vision 200, paired with Lumene screens of the corresponding diagonal.
Delivery comes in three boxes, for a total net weight of 119.5 kg, with the screws, instructions and tools needed for assembly. The cabinet arrives disassembled: given its width and weight, assembly should be planned for two people. The screen and projector are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the projector and screen included with the unit?
No. The Eden Vision 270 is sold separately. The ultra-short-throw projector and the Lumene Eden Extra Bright 270C screen must be purchased separately, according to your needs.
Is the motorized tray essential?
It is offered as an option. Its purpose is to reposition the projector with millimetre precision for each use, then store it away. If your projector always stays in the same place, you can place it directly in the recess and adjust it once and for all; the tray then becomes a convenience rather than a necessity.
Which UST projectors does the cabinet accommodate?
The central niche is designed for the vast majority of ultra-short-throw projectors, with a load capacity of 50 kg. It is still advisable to compare your model’s dimensions with the niche space before purchasing.
What wall width should be planned for?
The unit is 3077 mm wide; you therefore need an unobstructed wall slightly over three metres wide, with room for installation. For a smaller living room, the 240 and 200 versions take up less space.
Can it be assembled and installed alone?
This is not recommended. Delivered in three boxes weighing nearly 120 kg in total, it can be assembled using the supplied hardware and tools, but its width and weight warrant installation by two people.
Is the Lumene Eden Extra Bright screen mandatory?
The rear recess is sized around the Lumene Eden Extra Bright 270C floor screen, allowing the screen to be stored entirely inside the cabinet. Another screen would not fit in the same way.
Can the unit accommodate both a soundbar and speakers?
Yes. The acoustic fabric front allows sound from a soundbar or speakers placed behind it to pass through, while the side and central compartments house the electronics, protected by lift-up doors.
