Overview
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Klipsch has designed a special limited edition of the legendary Klipschorn speaker. Originally developed by audio pioneer Paul W. Klipsch in 1946, the Klipschorn speaker set industry standards for high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, smooth frequency response, and powerful bass.
Each high frequency speaker is finished in a glossy black piano finish, while the front of the low frequency speaker features refined grevillea veneer. The black anodized solid aluminum plate protecting the base of the speaker is adorned with a silver PWK (Paul W. Klipsch) logo with a genuine diamond inlay, the gemstone symbolizing 60 years.
For the very first time, the rear of the speaker has been aesthetically and functionally redesigned. Solid panels now closing the back of the high and low frequency speakers provide a more elegant look, eliminate any response and corner issues, and allow for the first time in Klipschorn speaker history inward or outward orientation.
