The PD-30 player perfectly illustrates the successful marriage of classicism and modernity. Audiophiles can enjoy the best decoding quality for traditional or dematerialized audio sources.
Compatible with SACD / CD, it is also possible to play DSD files, the original SACD format, contained on DVD-R. MP3 / WMA / AAC formats are also decoded by the player, whether contained on disc or USB key. Our proprietary Sound Retriever technology, by recreating the harmonics destroyed during compression, then allows for reproduction of near-CD audio quality.
The front USB port additionally offers iPod/iPhone/iPad compatibility to access playlists via a digital connection and decoding by the player, in addition to recharging and allowing control. The design of the PD-30 meets audiophile criteria and is based on our expertise in the field of sound.
Indeed, everything is implemented to safeguard the purity of the audio signal, as illustrated by the isolation of the power supply as well as our direct construction concept optimizing the audio flow path. The use of a 192 kHz-32 bit D/A converter as well as the Pure Direct mode are also present and illustrate our desire to offer the best possible playback.
The finish of the PD-30 uses brushed aluminum for the front panel and introduces a new, sleek remote control offering quick access to the various functions of the player.
