Good-quality amplifier, but I chose a model that isn't powerful enough for my system, but it works perfectly.

The Atoll Electronique MA100 power amplifier is both compact and high-performing, designed to easily integrate into most hi-fi and home theater setups. Made in France with high-quality components, it offers precise and dynamic sound reproduction.
The MA100 delivers a substantial power output of 2 x 60 W at 8 ohms, reaching up to 2 x 80 W at 4 ohms. In mono mode, it can provide up to 150 watts, making it capable of driving multi-driver speakers or those known to be difficult to drive. Its symmetrical design with discrete components and MOS-FET transistors contribute to high linearity and low distortion (0.05% at 1 kHz for 10 watts).
Among its other impressive technical features are a peak power of 100 watts, a 170 VA toroidal transformer, a total capacitance of 16,600 µF, an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB, a wide frequency response from 5 Hz to 200 kHz, and a fast rise time of 2 µs.
The MA100 is equipped with two RCA inputs, as well as RCA outputs for connecting to another amplifier. Its gold-plated speaker terminals ensure excellent electrical contact. A 12V trigger input is available for remote power on/off, offering great ease of use.
A rear panel selector allows you to choose between classic stereo operation and mono (bridged) mode, providing more flexibility for integration into different systems.
The build quality of the MA100 meets Atoll’s high standards. Its 1.5 mm steel chassis and 4 mm brushed aluminum front panel provide excellent rigidity and an elegant look. Its dimensions of 320 x 230 x 83 mm and weight of 4 kg make it a compact device, easy to position in any setup.
Despite its small size, the MA100 can be paired with a wide range of hi-fi speakers. It is particularly suitable for use with Atoll’s HD100 and HD120 preamplifiers, forming a compact and musical chain.
In home theater setups, it is an interesting solution for powering Atmos speakers or rear channels without cluttering the TV stand. The possibility of using two MA100s in mono mode allows for a large power reserve for the most demanding installations.

Excellent “little” amp given its size.
Hooked up to the front channels of a Yamaha Dolby Surround amp and there’s no question or hesitation: you go from a rather ordinary sound by comparison to a completely different level of listening. More lively, full from top to bottom, realistic. (Here on B&Ws)
