Discover a new dimension in Surround sound with the NR1606 Audio Video Receiver, which incorporates the latest immersive Dolby Atmos technology. Dolby Atmos, derived from the best movie theaters, will immerse you in a 3D soundscape. You’ll completely rediscover the concept of sonic space with an expanded soundstage. A firmware update (available in Fall 2015) will allow the NR1606 receiver to integrate DTS’s new audio standard: DTS:X, for three-dimensional sound.

The NR1606 features eight HDMI inputs (including one on the front) with the latest HDMI standards for high-end video signals. It’s ready for future developments, compatible with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz, Pure Color 4:4:4 sampling, and 21:9 video pass-through. It also supports HDCP 2.2, mandatory for copy-protected 4K Ultra HD content. In addition to its new audio & video formats, the NR1606 doesn’t compromise on build quality. It incorporates high-current power transistors for each of the 7 channels. Its construction features independent blocks for each section, allowing it to deliver power equivalent to larger models in a slim, elegant design. It offers immersive 90W per channel Surround sound.
