GigaWatt LC-2 EVO is a high-quality power cable designed to power Hi-Fi and High-End audio and video systems. This cable is also used to equip GigaWatt power strips and power conditioners.
The cable wires consist of seven solid core conductors, with a cross-section of 1.5 mm2, made of 99.997% pure copper (OFHC C10100), which are also subjected to an annealing process, allowing them to obtain a uniform structure and better conductance. The wires are arranged in a weave with a newly developed geometry. This ensures a constant, unthrottled current flow and prevents any interference from appearing at the output end. On the other hand, its relatively high intrinsic capacity, which is caused by the cable geometry and the characteristics of the dielectric, represents great filtering and damping capabilities for a wide range of interference.
The insulation of the conductors has been made in a new flexible PK90AT28 material with a very low dielectric constant. The outer sheath is made of a flexible insulating material GA 70AT03, which suppresses unwanted vibrations. An additional protection of the cable is a light gray plastic braid resistant to wear.
The cable wires are protected by a static shield, consisting of an aluminum foil laminated with an internal copper drain wire. The sealed construction of the shield covers 100% of the cable surface, perfectly protecting against all kinds of external interference. In addition, the shielding prevents the appearance and propagation of internal interference and returns stray currents to the ground wire.
The cable is equipped with high-quality rhodium-plated plugs with a high connection surface, which allows a constant current flow from the electrical network. The contacts of both plugs were demagnetized. All conductors are connected without the use of solder, and the connections to the plugs are bolted, which guarantees great reliability and optimal functionality.

To my great surprise: spectacular audio effect! plugged in between the wall outlet and a power conditioner, it really gave openness and dynamics to the entire hi-fi system.

Good cable. The Furutech remain my preference with Schuko and well-chosen IEC mounting as well as cable ref. according to the element to be connected. The EVO LC2 brings a plus across the entire sound spectrum. Warning! The phase is reversed (for wall connection)! Flipping the Schuko plug on the power strip corrects this anomaly.
