Van den Hul The CANARY

This magnificent little bird sings with all its heart and soul! Canary is the sublime plumage that was missing from our renowned range of phono cartridges. It sits a step above our FROG, at the pinnacle of our offering of handcrafted moving coil cartridges by AJ van den Hul. Equipped with matched gold wire coils, a powerful alnico magnet, a short and effectively damped cantilever, it has an average output level of 0.55 mV and its nylon construction frees it from any resonance and makes it insensitive to variations in load impedance. It is the result of cutting-edge technology that delivers a flat, uncolored frequency response and the ability to recreate a very precise soundstage. Its exceptional value for money makes it a milestone in precision and fidelity of reproduction. Upon request, this model can be customized to meet the desires of its owner by being adapted to the tonearm, to the preamplifier by its output impedance, to the musical genre it is intended to reproduce (jazz requires more dynamics than classical which requires more scale and detail).
