An Exceptional Amplifier!
After much hesitation and comparing several models, I finally chose the Marantz SR8015 to replace my SR6013, and I absolutely do not regret my decision. This amplifier is simply outstanding. The sound quality is incredible, with clarity and power that redefine my home theater experience.
The setup was relatively straightforward thanks to the clear instructions and the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automatic calibration, which perfectly adjusted the sound to my 30 m² room with three openings to the living room, kitchen, and hallway. The features are numerous and intuitive, and the compatibility with the latest audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Pro is a real bonus.
I’m rediscovering my movies and music with newfound depth and richness in sound, even though the SR6013 paired with a 3-channel ATOLL power amplifier had already given me complete satisfaction. The design is sleek, and the build quality is top-notch. I highly recommend the Marantz SR8015 to anyone looking to upgrade their home theater system. I plan to pair it later with the Marantz MM8077 power amplifier to offload power from the SR8015 and further enhance my hi-fi and home theater experience.

To be satisfied, it took quite a bit of tweaking. I'm quite demanding and coming from a very robust but outdated Yamaha Z11 amplifier. I recommend downloading the app to fine-tune and master the settings. Don’t hesitate to lower the impedance if the amplifier overheats; the menu is a bit hidden, but everything is explained in the manual.
For the most demanding users who will push it to 100%, I suggest relieving at least the front stage with a power amplifier if you have power-hungry floor-standing speakers.
For those looking for a fairly warm sound and good control, I recommend it.

Finish and quality are top-notch. In home cinema, whether Atmos or not, it offers beautiful definition and dynamics. When used as a preamp paired with the MM7025 for music, it's truly satisfying.

Very good amplifier, well designed, very musical, the instruments are very distinct.
On the other hand, less dynamic in HC than an Onkyo.

Purchased to replace a slightly aging Denon in the same price range, I was amazed. After breaking in, the sound is simply exceptional in stereo. I use a Fiio M17 connected via Bluetooth. In multi-speaker home theater, you are literally immersed in an acoustic bubble. Watching a storm scene in 4K is an intense and almost unsettling experience. My old Denon was far from this quality of reproduction. The image is also very good.

Radically different product from my old Denon. Very easy to set up and the result is stunning. Pairs very well with Focal speakers.

After 2 Yamaha amplifiers, the last of which was an RXA2060 from the Advantage range with a lot of power, I wanted to change and try something else.
My Yamaha was powerful but the sound was a bit dry and raw. After much hesitation, research and advice, I took the plunge and bought the Marantz 8015. I have no regrets. It's an auditory pleasure. I'm rediscovering detail in the voice and softness with a clear and powerful sound. A bit hard to get used to the settings at first. After long hours, I think I've found the perfect setting. However, I have one small regret compared to the Yamaha - I had a huge number of DSPs available on the Yamaha and above all no restrictions on the settings. On the Marantz the possibilities are more limited in terms of settings and DSPs. Moreover, it's a pity not to have access to the tone control according to the chosen setting. Otherwise it's perfect. I don't regret my purchase. It exudes quality, solidity and power.

What musicality compared to the 70 series! The amp is heavy, and the shielding of the components provides a real advantage when the power line is polluted. Since making the change, no more noise from the power supply is transmitted to the speakers. The 8-point calibration gives a very pleasing result, even in an environment where the speakers are not optimally positioned.

Replacing a Denon 4520 from 2013 that delighted me for all these years, I was apprehensive about switching to a Marantz, but I am won over by the sound and capabilities of the SR8015. It is still breaking in, but I am on the right track.
Excellent build quality - I was already a fan of Marantz's aesthetics, so I find it beautiful with the rounded edges of the front panel. Above all, like the Denon, it has a sleek appearance. In a few weeks, once the break-in period is over, I can begin to revel in the sound quality that has been Marantz's reputation for many years.
I highly recommend it.

Superb amplifier with TOP quality manufacturing and a beautiful design... (pay attention to the dimensions and weight).
Setup and connections are incredibly easy on the TV with my FOCAL speakers. Just follow the on-screen instructions (connected via HDMI E-ARC to my Samsung TV). I opted for the automatic calibration.
The power is there to drive everything (Aria 836 + center + bookshelf speakers + Focal SUB1000)
However, the remote control is a real P.O.S. Unacceptable for an amp of this quality and especially at this price point. Even with the backlight, it's impossible to read what's written on the buttons. It doesn't control Bluetooth devices, so there's no way to manage my SFR Box. I used to have a 2013 Bose 535 and with its remote I could control everything (this is the 21st century!). I'm going to have to switch to a universal remote like Logitech.
Thanks Marantz for this great amp... But not for the remote

Excellent audio-video amplifier with high quality sound and image. Power is more than sufficient for my system (Dynaudio Evoke/Emit speakers, approximately 30 m2). The AUDYSSEY signal processing manages to create a very pleasant sound bubble, especially for watching movies. The amplifier has many functions, which I am still far from having fully explored. A few drawbacks: The manual could be more complete at times, and QOBUZ is not natively supported (but works with third-party software like BUBBLE UPNP for example).

Very happy with my choice, despite being loyal to the ONKYO brand for over 20 years, but surprised by the sound quality, both in stereo for listening to music regardless of genre and for home theater. Big difference from my ONKYO from five years ago, which was their top-of-the-line model, the Onkyo TX-RZ3100, with which I had superb listening experiences, even though there were issues with the HDMI output ports. If you have the means to treat yourself to this, don't hesitate.

I have this SR8015 as well as the T778,
The SR8015 drives BW CM8 S2 Surrounds, BW CM1 S2 Wides, Tangent Spectrum Dolby Enabled Fronts, my 65" Sony OLED AF9 TV as the center speaker, and BW 804 D3 Fronts + BW DB3 Subwoofer, and frankly, it's not bad and almost musical for a home theater setup...
But let's not kid ourselves by comparing it to real dedicated hi-fi systems! Still, it's not bad at all...
I also bought the Audyssey app and redid a calibration with it, and it's indeed better than the XT32 calibration embedded in the amp... (how or why, I have no idea!).
The 804 D3s are assisted by a Marantz PM KI Ruby dedicated to them, so I use the SR8015's PRE-OUT for the Fronts...
-> In terms of sound reproduction, it's the most musical of the current home theater amps from what I've heard, yes, the only combo that I
The T778 (since I couldn't re-edit my own dedicated review of the T778 following exchanges with Homecinesolutions) I'll try to elaborate on my impressions a bit more here:
-the T778 currently drives a KET T305 series set + 2 additional T301s as TOP FRONT (for an Atmos configuration) and a BW PV1D subwoofer: The result of this combination is dynamic yes, musical, no not in my opinion, or else we don't have the same definition of musical... a product that I consider unfinished but still on the market (same marketing strategy as the pseudo vaccines...) unfinished in the sense that the BluOs app or Tidal Connect works for me once out of 10 without having to upgrade the BluOs part (I've never seen such instability with any other brand...), the reproduction itself is rather in the register of neutrality without the perceived midrange boost via the Marantz, so in the long run I find it brings listening fatigue, this straightness and neutrality may please some but it's simply not my thing...)

The Marantz SR8015, which I received two months ago, is truly a top-notch amplifier in every way. Installed in a 9.1 bi-amp configuration (front speakers), it effortlessly drives all the speakers (Klipsch). It has it all - spatialization, dynamics, neutrality, immersion, no listening fatigue, and endless settings to suit every taste...
On the hi-fi side, I simply got rid of my stereo amplifier, as the Marantz already sets the bar very high, benefiting from calibration and bi-amping for an even better result... I know some will prefer the direct mode!
If your budget allows, go for it without hesitation.

A concentrate of technology with beautiful musicality and all the latest possible audio treatments.
Bravo Marantz, it's great work and global reviews are praising this excellent product.
The bi-amp is handled in a slightly exotic way, but it works.
