A 3-way floorstander with impressive performance

The Borea BR08 is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker equipped with 4 drivers. It features a 25 mm silk dome tweeter, a 160 mm natural cellulose midrange driver, and two 160 mm fiberglass woofers. This configuration enables it to cover a wide frequency range from 40 Hz to 22 kHz with precision and dynamism.

The new-generation EFS (Efficient Flow System) tweeter benefits from a neodymium magnet and a dedicated phase plug. This optimizes the dispersion of high frequencies while reducing directivity, resulting in a wide, airy soundstage. The natural cellulose midrange driver, inherited from the Esprit Ez range, delivers a natural and detailed reproduction of voices and instruments.

The two fiberglass woofers provide deep, punchy bass with excellent power handling. The front-firing bass-reflex port helps extend the low-frequency response while making it easier to position the speaker.

Scandinavian design combining elegance and functionality

The Borea BR08 sports a clean, Scandinavian-inspired design that blends seamlessly into any interior. The cabinet’s sleek lines are enhanced by refined details such as the decorative rings around the drivers.

The cabinet construction has been carefully engineered to optimize acoustic performance. The DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System), with slotted internal panels and EVA foam, effectively reduces unwanted vibrations. The non-parallel walls, for their part, help limit standing waves inside the speaker.

With dimensions of 102 x 20.6 x 31.4 cm and a weight of 18.85 kg, the BR08 strikes a good balance between compactness and performance. It comes with decoupling spikes and rubber tips for stable installation on all types of flooring.
