The two fully active 8-inch SVS drivers in a push-pull configuration have been engineered to prevent any mechanical vibration from being transmitted to the enclosure. SVS has succeeded in creating a truly inert enclosure, thereby solving the main challenge of micro subwoofers.

The SVS 3000 Micro is able to reach down to 23 Hz effortlessly and inherits numerous groundbreaking technologies from the 16-Ultra series subwoofers, featuring an 800 W RMS Sledge amplifier (2,500-watt peak power) with a fully discrete MOSFET output and a 50 MHz Analog Devices DSP. As a result, the 3000 Micro maintains a high level of performance and control on the most demanding content, while preserving perfectly linear frequency response.

Performance overview

The STA-800D2M amplifier with 800 W RMS and 2,500 W peak power combines massive output from discrete MOSFET components with the energy and thermal efficiency of Class D. With extremely low distortion, the unique design delivers virtually unlimited power on demand while maintaining precise driver control.

The dual 8-inch push-pull drivers of the SVS subwoofer feature a ferrite motor system with a parabolic NBR surround for extreme excursion and perfect stability, even at reference listening levels.

The 50 MHz Analog Devices DSP (56-bit filtering) delivers an accurate frequency response thanks to a wide range of advanced settings and controls for optimal frequency response, while allowing the subwoofer to fully fill the room with bass.
