Emotiva BasX A‐2

The BasX A2 is a two-channel power amplifier that delivers 160 W per channel into 8 Ω and 250 W per channel into 4 Ohms, with a rated THD + N (total harmonic distortion plus noise) of <0.02% and an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 112 dB. The Emotiva BasX A2 features a robust linear power supply, high-quality Class A/B amplification, transparent fault protection, and trigger input and output.

The BasX A2 also offers a convenient feature that allows the amp to turn on when an audio signal is detected at its input. This is especially useful if your preamp or integrated amplifier does not offer a trigger output. The high-quality unbalanced RCA inputs allow the BasX A2 to be used with virtually any preamp or processor, and the audiophile-grade speaker terminals accept banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wire.
