Each GoldenEar SuperSat satellite speaker model features the extraordinary GoldenEar High‐Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeter design. The HVFR tweeter propagates sound waves and moves air by compressing it with its accordion-folded diaphragm, rather than pushing it like conventional speakers do. The result is better impedance matching to the air in the room with superior control, smoother and more extended response with lower distortion, and dramatically improved dynamic range. Each SuperSat speaker model also utilizes GoldenEar’s revolutionary 4.5” mid/bass drivers, which incorporate GoldenEar’s proprietary Multi-Vaned Phase Plug (MVPP) design, as well as computer-optimized cone topology.

A brand that I didn't know at all at first!
For nearly 2 months we have been amazed by the clarity of the sound coming from our GoldenEar speakers - the depth of the bass, the purity of the treble, the dynamics of the low end, and that incredible subwoofer! You can hear each instrument, with clear and precise tones. We feel like we're immersed in the heart of the jazz orchestra. A warm and captivating sound!
As for the home theater performance: stunning! The balance, power, clarity, depth...
Frankly, we wonder at this point how high the treble can go without distorting or sounding nasal. And that bass... We highly recommend these speakers!
